Players can look at the year on their cards.

1. The dealer deals each player 5 cards. 
2. Players should take cards into their hand with the year-side facing them.

The person to the left of the dealer.

1. Players should look to make the best poker hand with the dates on the cards. This can include two pair, three pair, small straights, big straights, a flush.
2. Players may choose up to 3 cards from their hand and exchange them with the dealer for 3 new cards.
3. Once players have had the opportunity to exchange their cards once, each player reveals their hand. The player with the best poker hand wins.

Tie: If two players have similar hands, each are dealt one more card with the opportunity to improve their hand. Continue providing tied players one more card until one person has made a better hand.
